Goals

  • Begin work on oral report outline Thursday October 27th
  • Meeting Monday October 31st about individual research progress (Nov 2nd as a backup)
  • Put oral report outline together Thursday November 3rd
  • Finish oral report and practice Monday November 7th
  • Oral presentation Wednesday November 9th


  • Start brainstorming for written report (points, paragraphs, assign sections in report, etc.) on Thursday November 10th’s innovation period
  • Meet Monday November 14th to check up on progress
  • Put everything together on Thursday November 17th’s innovation meeting
  • Have written report written by Monday November 21st, on this day we will meet and edit the draft
  • Final draft and editing on Thursday November 24th’s innovation meeting


  • Thursday November 24th’s innovation meeting, sketch up poster, video, power point, etc.
  • Meet Monday November 28th and check on everyone’s progress, determine outline for oral presentation (who’s talking about what, etc)
  • Bring everything together Thursday December 1st in innovation
  • Practice in homeroom Friday December 2nd
  • Practice in front of Laura Monday December 5th
  • Practice at lunch Tuesday December 6th
  • Present in front of teachers Wednesday December 7th


  • Think of changes based on teacher feedback on Thursday December 8th in innovation
  • Practice practice practice!!

Roles

  • Everyone: keep a log, remain in contact through texts, research roles to be determined
  • Natasha: video, put together written report
  • Yi: submit all our work electronically, video
  • Roshni: purchase presentation materials, google sketch up and poster board
  • Isabella: Keep track of dates and deadlines, google sketch up andposter board
  • Rejy: powerpoint, meeting leader (setting goals of meeting, directing meeting, etc)
  • Monette: keep master log on wiki, powerpoint

Budget

  • $10 for presentation board (staples)
  • $2 bristol board (dollar store)
  • $5 coloured printing (staples)
  • $2 for glue (dollar store)
